Fashion Scarves

The concept of the scarf as we know it today probably originated in ancient Rome. A cloth called a shroud ("sweat cloth") was an accessory that is used to clean the face and neck. Romans used these cloths around the neck or the waist in a knot. Over time, sweat fabric became a fashion item rather than one used only for the function. It was developed in the scarf.

The famous chain of French haute couture, Hermes is synonymous with signature silk scarves. However, when Thierry Hermes founded the first company in Paris in 1837, was a harness shop catering to the European nobility. Today, the company transporting the horse logo is easily recognizable as a sign of impeccable quality and craftsmanship. Hermès introduced its first classic cars as (veil) in 1937, an impression of the Ladies' fashion in white wigs playing a board game period, called "Jeu des Dames Blanches et Ombinus." In a dedicated factory in Lyon, creation of hand-printed, hand-stitched Hermès scarves imported Chinese silk became especially raw art. Hermès scarves horse motif are especially popular with more than 2,500 designs have been introduced since 1937.
